Expectations:
- Elevated Cholesterol: Most patients will work closely with one of our doctors for the first month or two when initiating a treatment plan for lowering cholesterol. After you have established control over cholesterol your doctor might want to monitor your levels every 3-6 months depending on your individual cardiovascular risk profile.
- High Blood Pressure: It is always our goal to get blood pressure under control as soon as possible. There are multiple ways we have successfully helped our patients achieve this, including:
- Diet and Lifestyle Changes
- Botanical Medicine or Supplements
- Pharmaceutical Medications
Are Dietary Changes Not Decreasing Your Cholesterol Numbers?
Some people produce an increased amount of cholesterol in their livers.
